Cork-based 5 piece band, Heavy Weather brew up a storm of their very own mix of Rhythm & Blues, rock and soul with influences ranging from Van Morrison to Bruce Springsteen to the Black Keys.

Led by Kenny Stafford on vocals and guitar, Wexford-born Stafford first played the Blackstairs Blues Festival in 2013 and has been a long-standing member of the Wexford music scene having fronted numerous bands from a young age as well as having performed on television and radio.

Now joined by self-professed “Blues-man” Graham Moore on harmonica and complemented by the vocal harmonies of Kellie Campbell, the three regularly gig as an acoustic outfit around the southeast region.

Accompanied by their rhythm section, last year saw the release of their debut original single, bouncy folk tune ‘Angels Keep Ya Safe’, recorded at the Orchard Recording Studio. This summer things have heated up again for Heavy Weather upon the recent release of their follow-up single, Blues-Rock anthem ‘River of Secrets’.
